Within the context of the project titled ‘The Feasibility Study on the Interoperability of Selected Single Window Systems in the OIC Region’ financed under COMCEC Project Funding and implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Trade of Morocco, a study visit was paid by Moroccan experts to Jakarta, Indonesia on October 8th-10th, 2018. Within the framework of the project titled “Improvement of Agricultural Extension Services” (2017-TURAGRIC-436) being implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkey, study visits to Tunisia (24-25 September, 2018) and Morocco (26-28 September, 2018) have been conducted. Within the scope of the visits, which were participated by the project coordinator, trainer and officials from the Ministry, the delegation made examinations on the current situation in agricultural irrigation management and agricultural irrigation extension services in the partner countries. Within the framework of the project titled “Improving Financial Consumer Protection in the OIC Member Countries” (2017-TURFINAN-463) being implemented by the Ministry of Trade of Turkey, a two-day workshop has been conducted between 26-27 September, 2018 in İstanbul. The workshop was attended by a total of 46 participants from Azerbaijan, Algeria, Gambia, Iran, Jordan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Tunisia, Turkey, Sudan and Saudi Arabia. The first training program has been conducted within the framework “Improving the Single Window Service System for Social Protection and Poverty Reduction in the OIC Countries Project” (2017-INDPOVER-349), implemented by Indonesia.

Within the framework of the project titled “Improving the Single Window Service System for Social Protection and Poverty Reduction in the OIC Countries” being implemented by Ministry of Social Affairs of Indonesia, a three-day training program has been conducted between 15-17 July, 2018 in Yogyakarta/Indonesia. The program, which was in training of trainers (ToT) format, aimed at improving the capacity for using the single window service system and increasing the efficiency in implementing social protection and poverty reduction programs. A training program was organized within the context of the “Harmonization of National Halal Standards with the OIC/SMIIC Halal Standards” (2017-SMIIC-437) project implemented by the SMIIC and funded by the COMCEC Project Funding.

A training program was organized within the context of the “Harmonization of National Halal Standards with the OIC/SMIIC Halal Standards” (2017-SMIIC-437) project implemented by the SMIIC and funded by the COMCEC Project Funding.

Within the context of the project titled “The Harmonization of National Halal Standards with SMIIC/OIC Halal Standards” financed under COMCEC Project Funding and implemented by the Standards and Metrology Institute for the Islamic Countries (SMIIC), a training with the same topic was organized on July 16th and 20th, 2018 in Istanbul, Turkey. During the program 21 participants from 12 OIC member countries were trained on certain policies and practices to harmonize national halal standards with OIC/SMIIC Halal Standards.
