The training titled “Experience Sharing on Establishing a Legal Framework for the Islamic Finance Unit” was organized by the Ministry of Finance of Benin on 11–14 August in Cotonou, Benin. Two trainers from the International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance (INCEIF), Malaysia, took part in the training.
The activity aimed to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Ministry of Finance of Benin in the fields of Islamic finance and Islamic green finance, and to benefit from Malaysia’s experience in designing the legal framework for the Islamic finance unit planned in the country. The program was participated by officials from public institutions, representatives of the relevant sectors, as well as participants from the COMCEC Coordination Office.
