A special Panel titled “Revitalization of Economic Activities in Rural Areas of the Syrian Arab Republic” was held on November 2, 2025, on the sidelines of the 41st COMCEC Ministerial Meeting. The panel addressed the revitalization of rural economic activities in Syria in terms of agriculture, employment and infrastructure.
Moderated by Dr. Sinan Hatahet, the Panel brought together distinguished experts: Prof. Dr. M. Thameur Chaibi, Prof. Aykut Gül, and Mr. Mehmet Okan Ateş as Panelists, who contributed to the session with their opinions and evaluations. Participants from OIC Member States, international organizations, civil society, and academia attended the session.
