The 27th Meeting of the COMCEC Agriculture Working Group was held on September 21-22, 2026, in Ankara, Türkiye with the theme of “Promoting a Resilient Agriculture Sector against Climate Change in OIC Member Countries”.
The representatives of 16 Member States, which have notified their focal points for the Agriculture Working Group, attended the Meeting. The meeting was further attended by the SESRIC, IOFS, COMSTECH,FAO-SEC, UNDP and COMCEC Coordination Office (CCO).
Representatives of the Member States and international institutions have shared their experiences and best practice examples about climate changes. The main findings of the research conducted specifically on the theme of the Meeting was presented. The Working Group come up with concrete policy recommendations to be submitted to the 42nd COMCEC Ministerial Session.
