26^th Meeting of the COMCEC Poverty Alleviation Working Group

The 26^th Meeting of the COMCEC Poverty Alleviation Working Group (PAWG) was held on 21 April 2026 in a virtual-only format, under the theme of “Preventing Skill Mismatch in the Labour Markets of the OIC Member Countries”, with the participation of the OIC Member Countries and International Institutions.

The Working Group has focused on experiences and perspectives of member countries and international organizations, as well as examples of good practices on skill mismatch, and addressed common challenges. The Meeting also eleborated on how to further enhance policies and strategies to better align skills with labour market needs.
